The background
Hazel Capital is a specialist private equity firm with a successful track record for investing and developing solar energy farms.
Looking forward they had identified two strategic goals: first, to broaden the scope of their investment activity to include the emerging technologies of battery storage and electric vehicle infrastructure; second to attract external investment that would allow them to scale at speed.
The brief
The original Hazel Capital logo was evocative of the sustainable coppicing idea behind the name, but undeniably homespun and unsuited for digital media.
They had developed a new strapline of, ‘Sustainable returns. Infinite resources.’ Our task was to amplify this brand narrative with a contemporary visual identity and express it, along with a newfound sense of professionalism and potential scale, across a range of collateral – with particular focus on a new website.

Hazel Capital has secured £2.6m of growth capital from Gresham House Plc and will now form the basis of a new division called Gresham House New Energy.
“It has been a pleasure working with the Incorporate Team. From the outset they showed a complete appreciation of our goal to revitalise the Hazel Capital brand whilst not overlooking the Company’s origins. The concepts they presented were sensitive, informed and innovative, their approach throughout entirely professional with exceptional attention to minute detail, and they have been available throughout to quickly address queries or changes and to ensure a smooth process.”
